Radio Flyer toys have evolved since their humble beginnings in 1917 when Antonio Pasin designed and built his first wood wagons in a rented one room workshop. In 1930, Antonio changed the name of his company to Radio Steel and Manufacturing and named his metal wagons “Radio Flyer” after the Italian immigrant Guglielmo Marconi who invented the radio; and Antonio’s own wonderment of flight.
